@SuperHartline Johnny Carson once announced, mistakenly, that we were about to hear "Take A Train". He quickly corrected himself and gave that little "busted" smile.
@7stiga Hes trying to be another funny douchebag by commenting on people that dislike it. Because doing that is SO COOL AND IT GETS YOU UPVOTES SO YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF
I don't think that today's music is so bad. Nowadays good music is hidden and you've got to find it out by yourself because there's no more artistic information, that's the problem for me. One thing is sure, there are still lots of great musicians and artistic talents around the world.
Toronto has quite a big band following in the area. If you live near enough you might hear them on 740 KHz AM on Sunday nights. The program is called, "Big Band Sunday Night". Gee, what a title!!! Think you can also hear them via internet, too. I think the url is
This great orchestra was in Oslo, Norway in 1958, I was there - the starter was the A train - and we jumped in our seats. Memory for life! Thanks for posting.
@LTmattYT listen up, stop being a twirp and stop insulting.!!! Anyways favoriting how to roll a blunt for dumb smokers says enough! So please be quiet and let the crowd listen to some fine music.
@trumpetsrule15 Everytime I listen to someone like Duke Ellington or Benny Goodman and then to some crappy singer or band that comes out now makes me realize how low the music industry has gone to make money from people who can't appreciate actual talent.
A little known fact is that Billy Strayhorn wrote Take the "A" Train..........The "A" Train in real life took you to Harlem the then Mecca of music.

Have you heard Oscar Peterson playing Take The "A" Train with the Duke's orchestra? O.P. literally shakes up the band as he plays it his way.
