Raine most likely has the robe you get from Maxwell which gives you defense from all elements. She also has the Persian boots and Reflect ring. With a fusion of those 3 it makes all elements invalid

technically Raine was damaged. She just had on enough items to nullify all elemental damage. Thats why she had to dodge gravity well, meteor storm and all those other badass attacks that are only in the ps2 version

@IgneoBern, raine have equipment called spirit robe which +2 resistance to all elements and it is dropped by maxwell, her acc is persian boots which has same function with the robe and last maybe she is equipped with ressist ring (+1 resist to all element) those all make +5 resistance to all element.. +5 means nullify all element

@Rinoaebastel I haven't tried it on the PlayStation, and I can't ever get it fast enough on GC w/o taking my hand off the control stick which for enemies with 10K hp or less isn't that bad but once you start to get to high hp zone you want to have your hand on the control stick or else it is going to epically fail, especially sense they have a higher chance of going over-limit on your ass.

He has spell immunity to some or all elements. So he doesn't have to avoid spells but he does have to dodge physical attacks which is why you never see him get hit by any physical attacks.

Well, you do your full attack, like for zelos, you do three attacks normally, then use a spell, but right after you hit your spell button, hit the block button. If you do this fast enough, it can do some serious damage!
