I had pretty much quit watching the show at this point after about 12 years. Phillip the 3rd had just died around May 30th and I was devastated beyond belief, and the show became nothing but George and Casandra Rawlins. BORING!!!!!!!

@TimsDale4ever - OMG, that's right when I started watching it, about '89, and I totally remember the who George and Cassandra Rawlins storyline. Mark Derwin (A.C. Mallet on Guiding Light) played the detective that saved Cassandra. Man those were the days...

No you're wrong! JIM Grainger was Cricket's father. And SCOTT Grainger was Jim's son that Cricker almost married, making him her brother but you have the right idea.

JIm Grainger, I believe. He was dating Nikki at the time. He was the father of Scott Grainger, Lauren's husband.
