Put the microphone closer to the amp so you dont hear ur clicky string noise as you strum. If some of you cant tell hes using distortion you need to practice more on your guitar and stop watching youtube videos.

This guitar comes standard with DiMarzio super distortion and 36th Anniversary PAF. I'm assuming Kurt had the SD his real guitar. But what did he have in the neck position, historically speaking?

I bought this guitar, but the screws on Tun-o-Matic that regulate the length of the strings near the bridge, are the heads screws INSIDE! near the bridge DiMarzio SuperDistorion.

In all other Fender guitars, the screw heads are on the outside!!! like this:

And when I try to adjust the length of the string, SuperDistorion prevents access by screwdriver in to heads of screws. Is this a bug factory??? Or whatthefuck!!!???

I don't like the way they customize this signature guitar, I mean all this abrasions and dents in the body. It's the same like with Road Worn. Destroying new guitar just to make it looking "Old and used", while it is totally new.

@Justeatmytoast They also got a few specs wrong, like how they used a regular Adjusto-Matic bridge instead of a Schaller bridge, and how they didn't disable the thumbwheel or slide switches.

They claim it's 100% accurate and they collaborated with Nirvana's guitar tech himself to make it, but the guy behind KurtsEquipment;com talked to the same guy and gave him more specific and accurate details, which the people at Fender clearly didn't pay as close attention to as they said.

It's a nice guitar, but I couldn't justify 1300 bucks for a MIM. Outside of the bound neck (which is beautiful), I'd just buy a 700 jag, place the humbuckers in there and still have 200-300 left over to score a Sansamp classic online. But I can relate. I was a monster Nirvana fan when I was 16-17 in 1994. I even bought a jag stang when they came out. POS lol. My inner teenager envies you. Enjoy it, have fun and keep playing.
