There was a technique video on how to clear this mission with only 20 C70 bombs. Grab the chopper, hover around until the Genocide Cannon drops, and try and get yourself on a little ledge on the side of the rings on the three sticks pointing out near the main cannon. Plant all 20 bombs there, and detonate 10, destroying the cannon. Then, the mothership will lower itself, unknowing of the 10 C70's that are still floating in mid-air. Detonate those, and the Mothership will come crashing down.

when plated on inferno, you shouldnt bother about killin anythin else apart from the mothership, cos if you do,yuo get bogged down and you get killed eaier, so what you do if ye have the last sniper, lysander z, go co op and both ahve that weapon twice and overkill the mothership with them snipers. tis one of the best ways of beating it.

RECOMENDED WEPONS FOR LAST LEVEL:

- Good assault riffle or Ze-Gun's (not really recommended)

- Good BAZOOKA (rocket launcher)

try staying as far as you can, and when you destroy the cannon and the core is open, kill the lower plates (they launch huge lasers) not the higher ones (small lasers).

I hated the last level. It was near-impossible to see because of all the shit flying around (which seemed to be just for show, as it did little damage), the framerate slowed down to the point that it was like watching a slideshow, and I fell through the ground and instantly died on my first two attempts.

Despite the horrible finale, I loved the game. Even though it was deeply flawed and looked like it could run on a PS2, it had enough charm to keep me coming back. Also, DINO-MECHS!!!

good luck with that one dude. im still working on it. i have a technique that is very useful up until the ufo's and elites. thats where i fail. oh and i do this technique where you pair the c70 bomb with the weakest rocket launcher and plant the bombs at your feet, shoot yourself with the rocket launcher and detonate while in mid air nullifying the c70 damage but killing everything around you.

convergence? it's the hardest level by far... lemme tell you how, you start by blowing up the ufo on the far right, then far left. use a sniper

then you kill all the insects, ignoring the gunships and robots

look to the sky as two more ufos come down, and shoot them while they're still way up in the sky.
