  • shitty japanese music. Bastards have destroyed In the Groove, screw KONAMI

  • @BenTennison16 Going by all the ITG3 content that was leaked onto the internet, In The Groove was heading downhill anyway. The team wouldn't even support Pump it Up Pro after the 2nd release.

  • @CernaML say what? The "leak" was intentional because the Roxor team knew what was gonna happen (the lawsuit and all). They simply wanted to 'release' at least something they had completed rather giving it to greedy konami. As for pump it up, i have no say in that as i have never played it, and frankly, dont intend to. Either way ITG2 dedicabs were by far the most advanced dance machines there were out there and to a great extend, they STILL are. The ITG pads are still the highest quality today.

  • @BenTennison16 No no. What I mean is from what I saw, In The Groove 3 was going to suck anyway. The songs weren't very good, the charts got worse and if I recall correctly, the developers themselves started hating each other! The same exact thing happened within the development of Pump it Up Pro. And yes, ITG machines are amazing. They were built by Andamiro (Pump it Up) after all. New Japanese DDR cabinets were very good too though. Betson's machines suck. + I agree about DDR's newer charts.

  • @BenTennison16 Also, when to comes to four panel dance games, yeah ITG machines are the best. But to call them the best dance machines in general is going a little too far. You probably have never seen a Pump it Up TX cabinet. Probably the nicest looking dance machine ever built with the same exact or maybe even better build quality for the pads as an ITG machine. I wish the dance game scene was just as alive today as I remember back then. But even SoCal pretty much abandoned it.

  • @CernaML I may have started playing ddr only quite recently but have friends who have played much longer and based on the various machines i have tried i can honestly say that past SN2 the industry has pretty much stalled since then. which is a great shame, but thanks to the dedicated community, ITG lives on and no offense to DDR but the recent charts (x or X2) are pretty much unplayable. Whoever designed these atrocities probably never played DDR and just randomly clicked on arrows instead.

  • ES: Amalgamation / Mystic Moon
