I have watched this show since the very first season, and this routine was by far the best I have seen. I have watched it over and over, and show friends that have never saw the show this routine. It was so upsetting that Alex was injured, to the point that I didn't care if I finished watching the season. I hope he recovers and is able to dance again. Honestly, I think Alex has been the best dancer on the show to date. They were lucky this year he couldn't compete, he would have won!

He was going to come back as an all star this season but Nigel mentioned on the show that he was auditioning for a part and performing the same move that he got injured with on sytycd last year and he was injured again the same way just the opposite leg. Isn't that horrible, I would have loved to see him back this season. I love Lauren, but you know if he had not been injured Alex would have most likely won the show.

Amazing. The ballet dissing is stupid though; being a highly trained ballet dancer in this day and age makes you more versatile than any other discipline of dance. Even Mia knows this, from her own descriptions of working w/Jacoby and Pronk et. al. A great ballet dancer today can do contemporary, ballroom or hip hop, etc. The opposite is rarely - if ever - true. Love Alex and Twitch, still the best performance ever!

This is absolutely my favorite SYTYCD performance EVER! Nothing else even comes close. If Alex had not been injured, I'm sure he would have been the winner of his season. He was amazing! I keep hoping that someday he'll try out again so we can continue to watch him dance. Twitch was awesome in the routine as well. I'm so glad they brought the all-stars back that season so this moment could happen.
