I also use the Chanel bronzer and mine is not blotchy. It may be your brush, or just the color of the bronzer against your skin. It is the most amazing bronzer for summer, though! I use Bobbi Brown's face blender bronzer brush with it.

I've really been wanting to try that MAC finishing powder - I see you put it on at the end after everything..do you find that works a lot better with keeping everything in place, rather than putting it on right after your foundation?

Haha i found my All Saints CD after so many years, so I said why not!?! lol!!!

The mac prep and prime is meant to be used to blur out any imperfection and to set foundation. So it's basically a powder, but better, and looks less caky, since it's completely translucent. So you can do what you like with is, but I like it at the end because it keeps everything in place, while blurring out any imperfection:)

it might look blotchy because your using the same brush for your foundation so leftover product is still on there .. that happened to me to made my bronzer look almost glossy when it dried up in the pan...

I use #168 brush to apply Chanel Bronze Universelle :) I can't use a lot of that product or it'll look real dark on me. I'm also using Chanel Foundation in Beige :)
