  • That's fast!

  • whoa seems like ppl that which aren't living in switzerland find that very interesting huh :o *standing there around like 2 times a week*

  • Hello from downunder

That's a great vid, thanks for sharing.

  • I was there yesterday.

The city is really beautiful. And the trains drive unbelivable quick through the station. Switzerland is great! I was really sad as I had to leave.

  • great moment =)

    5 * man!

  • I live in holland but im half schweizer.

And i think they got the best trains i know.

    And its a nice country....

  • I'm fully Dutch but I was born in Switzerland (Dutch parents). I most definitely agree with this, Holland is nice but Switzerland is way better in most aspects. I will say that the German ICE trains are the best I've ever been on, the technology in those trains are amazing.

    Hup Holland & Hopp Schwiiz!

  • what do the swiss call there inter city trains the ones that are very simular to the german ICE trains?

  • Not very similar.... German ICE trains travel on swiss tracks.

  • They dondt have own ones. I think you might refer to the italian PENDOLINO. Even the french TGV runs in Switzerland.

  • Hi! The double decker like the one in the video has the abbreviation "IR", which means Inter-Regio. The ICE-like train (aerodynamic single-decker) in switzerland has the abbreviation "ICN", which means Inter-City Neigezug (Neigezug = tilting train). I hope this helps!

  • SBB has a tilt train that they call the ICN, which mainly runs from Zurich and Basel to Geneve. They used to run the TEE (trans-euro-express)... which hasn't existed for a long time, however some of the old TEE trains have been refurbished and are used by BLS for Regional Express services.

  • hey I'm a swiss. I'm surprised how you find this interesting:)

    cool country, huh?

  • It's a beautiful country. I would love to live there.

  • I ve traveled to many countries in Asia and Europe, but never have i relaxedas much as in Switzerlands trains. They have the best trains in the world...

  • love the way you can feel the power and the speed...I live near Nyon, and before going back home I stop at the station and wait for the express. I salute the engineer, and just after the engine has passed I come to the white line (Inever cross it) and when the train is gone the air comes rushing towards you with such strength...!

  • Hello together.

I'm traindriver. One Message to "RoterAdrmiral". In Aarau, trains passes the station with 140 until 160km/h. And not with 100km/h like in Oberwinterthur. ;) Just for Information...

  • Wow, wie interessant.... *kotz*

  • Great video of an IC 2000 at speed. I have a Roco IC 2000 but I have never seen one in real life but I hope to in September.

  • Wötsch säge de haltet da nöd ... ^^

Muesch mol bi Oberwinterthur Filme; det chaner gradus dur de Bahnhof rase -> und das machter au ~so mit 100 sache :-S

  • I had to have my friend in Aarau translate your message back to me. Seems that you are using a certain dialect of German that doesn't translate well on the Google language translator. Thanks again for your posts, RoterAdmiral.

  • wooow, that was cool

  • Thanks Nils...Check out the rest of my videos on YouTube...They're even cooler.

  • Vitesse de passage à Aarau : 140-160km/h direction Rupperswil, et 160-140km/h à la dernière aiguille :-)
