Sounds like absence seizures to me, I had that happening recently while in the hospital it was happening a lot! My EEG's have been normal, so they do not always show up they can be non epileptic seizures.
Ugh I'm really sorry you're doing so terribly again! :( And I'm sorry your sister is going to be gone so long - it's sweet how much you miss her, though! I'm sorry, I've only had one seizure (I'm actually getting another EEG this summer), so I don't know much about it - it sounds very similar to cataplexy, though (I have narcolepsy and get it on occasion). Still praying for you <3
My mom had epilepsy for 43 years. She used to make quiet sounds right before one and smile a little. Then she usually would go into a grand mal for about a minute. Then she fell asleep for up to an hour after. Usually she was really confussed and did not know where she was for a few minutes. She did do the blank stare thing also. Can you feel when a seizure is about to happen, or does it suprize you?
Kristina, you are so inspirational. You hang in there hun. I really feel for you right now, I wish I could think of something I could do for you! <3. Will be praying for you hun~ Don't ever ever lose hope. God is with you love. <3 HUGS <3
hi hun. sounds kind of absent seizures. you might want to tell your mom to get you to a neurologist, i get those all the time, i have seizure disorder.
Yeah I think they could be an absence or even a complex partial (or simple partial) yes absence can be picked up on EEG, they're "generalized" seizures. I hope you're feeling better! :( I'm so sorry you're going through all this.
Awww.... so sorry my friend! Praying for you and I do hope you are feeling better today. This disease sucks doesn't it...and yes WE WILL make it! Love ya girl
THis video was so moving for me. As you may know i Had/have epilespy. I had absence seizures and yes they can see them on EEG. N i know that feeling when u can hear everybody u just cant respond or move had one 2 weeks ago. I hope you start feeling better. maybe we could talk more some time. we could text or something. Love you so much dear. <3
Without a Doubt those are Deffffinitely absent seizures, I know only because I have them. I have Late Stage Lyme that set off dysautonomia so thats why I get them. Your speech is very slow/slurred which is a big sign of absent seizures... OH how I know what you mean when your in the midst of one and its like your frozen still on the inside and its hard to explain but its so painful far beyond physical pain.... I will be praying for you tonight that God lifts the intensity of these symptoms... <3
My prayers are with you, Kristina. I'm not an epileptic so can't I help you with anything pertaining to that. I pray you get a good night's rest tonight. Take care!
