Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield - Pearl Castle

Last night, I played this mission. I took out everyone in there without getting shot and with only one guy (and he was a freaking back-up!) I always found that the G36K + Silencer was a no-fail combination, at least, it hasn't let me down yet. Anyway, if it weren't for the story elements, i say this mission should've come before Falcon Hour, which I thought was A LOT harder.

@TheMetalfreak1982 isn't that an assault rifle? i mostly use the MP5/10A2 silenced for those kind of missions. Yes, it may be inaccurate but the crosshair closes so fast it is a lifesaver in indoors levels.

of course my layout varies from stage to stage.

I remember when i played this game when i was like 7! u used to have a like 3 groups of people to control at 1 time i think, but i got confused, so i went rambo. this was the last level i ever played cause i got stuck lol

To all the noobs who say RBSV is better.... this is an FPS/RTS hybrid like it was intended to be. It takes a lot of brainpower to be successful. This game and it's predecessors are the truest to the novel. BTW someone needs to make some kick ass mods to bring the series back to life.

i used to play this game all the time on low spec pc...and now playing vegas 2 live or offline off line is more fun since you can voice command jung and michael albeit limited...i wished back then for bigger levels and they sure delivered...although online levels like pearl castle/now known as villa and import export/very much the same brasil level in this game i hoped more in the next gen ie photo realism, interaction with all items in environment (blow a hole through door,) maybe operation fla

Here's a combo that i always use to save hostages:

Before entering a room containing hostages and terrorist, just throw a smoke grenade at the base of the door.

Make sure you have sniper rifle w/ thermal scope. Now open the door.

Since the AI are stupid enough to not shoot into the smoke you can use the sniper rifle w/ thermal scope to headshot them.

that works but u can use the mousewheel to slightly open the door then flash the room , storm in with go codes bam lol job done like a pro ;)

Ya Im getting some flashbacks, and to the guys saying he got shot in 2 secs, it was probably a modded AI. This game had some of the best modders Ive ever seen. Amazing AI itellegence, and maps, with a pretty good community back in its day.

hahaha you really fucked up in the last 30 seconds XD 1st u don't set the breaching charges, then you open the door with the breaching charges *in your hand*, then you wait for him to empty his mag, go in (luckily he didnt shoot the hostage), the other tangos run out, you try and shoot them, in the mean while the hostage gets shot :D hehehe...otherwise good movie :P

When I played the game, the terrorists shot me within a split of a second. In this video it seems like they never shot at you.

MixuMan93 I have never played Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield but this mission looks like a nock off map of mission ISLAND ESTATE for rain bow six 3 origanal for the origanal X box.

Well the actual map-name is Island Estate, so it should be it. And actually this is the original one for PC.... The other ones were just console versions, which had most of the tactical elements removed.
