The loading screen is wrong, there's no pokeball timer, there's no intro screen and the wimote screen is wrong. Look for a video of official brawl loading for proof.

He is running it on a Japanese Wii he probably played the original before he made the back up so he had a save file already on his Wii. So that question that pops up on the screen on that video with the D2C chip is asking to create a save file on the Wii and that's what the pokeball timer is for, to make the save file on the wii hdd. There is no intro because he is clearly mashing buttons to skip the intro video. He showed that he has a save file by showing those vids on the screen.
