I'm assuming Nikki Payne started out as a kid-comedian, doing shows for kids at birthday parties, etc., you know, like a clown. She pranced around buffoonishly with her deliberately over-pronounced lisp and kept the little kids in stitches. Then she decided to her hands on regular comedy, which is much more difficult because you're trying to entertain adults and what works on kids doesn't work on adults. What she does now is basically her same old kid-comedy act but now with R-rated content.
