For those that like to complain about the poor quality of my films this is your chance to have some input.
My Sony Cybershot - used for all films here but one - has given up on me. I do not want to buy a video camera - just a compact camera which I can carry around in my pocket.
Thank you, I am pleased to know that but you are going to need a lot of time. I think that there are around 150 films here from Poland that I have placed!
I like your film, but you should look for the Old in the area of the old town - most houses there are in the old, pre-war style. All the bleak, socialist-time and glass office houses you show here, can be considered as "new". I hope you have seen e.g. Grand Polonia Hotel opposite the Palace of Culture and Science or Bristol Hotel in Krakowskie Przedmiescie - these buildings are old...
Thank you for your comments. The Polonia hotel looks very nice on al. Jerozolimskie although not so from the Marszałkowska side. I have put films here from the Old Town in Warsaw as well as many other places in Poland including Wielkopolska!
You say, Slaweczka, that the Old is in the Old town. However, I'm sure you know that those buildings were all rebuilt from scratch after the war, using the rescued paintings of old Warsaw, among which not least notable were by Canaletto, of Venice fame, who also spent very creative years in this city.
I live in Warsaw hole my life. I like your video and I want to add sth to your commentary. I don't if you know that the building beside which you're standing is a former polish mint (built in 50s in "socrealistic" style)
u think that something remained from ghetto? wow! its impossible

@szatanowska In fact quite a lot of buildings survived from the southern part. In the north it is a diffterent story.
