  • Blueberry seeds may well be the new GOLD.

You will find that they are also quite exspensive. Ebay you can find them for

$2.00 for 25 seeds + shipping. If you do this yourself, 1 pint of blueberries can yeild over 1,000 seeds.

DONT THROW AWAY THOSE BERRIES THAT ARE moldy, or past their etible point - SAVE THE SEEDS!

I have uploaded a great little video that shows you a fast/effective way to collect those

    precious little tiny seeds!

  • @LookUpAtSkyNow Have you actually grown any of those seeds? I planted some blueberry seed which I removed from some fresh rabbiteye blueberries. Though I didn't cold-treat (stratify) the seeds as recommended, many of them sprouted, but it took them 6 months to come up. I planted them in June, gave up after 4 months, but I kept checking them about once a month. They finally sprouted around January of this year.

  • can i overdose of blueberries? i eating atleast a bucket a day...

  • O; eating them right now

Is black tea good too ?

I'm drinking that right now to.

  • Went channel surfing yesterday and spotted blueberry facts on the FOOD Network. I'm amazed. I think I will eat a serving of blueberries daily. With my rigorous exercises and balance diet and Yoga class @CSUN, I'm repairing my mind and body from all the partying i did when I was in high school and when i was in the service. There's no stopping ...

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you for this informative video.

  • In dictionaries dated before 1940, the word vaccine came from the word berries. don't get vaccinated, eat truck loads of berries ......

  • Great guy, with great advice!

  • Take a look at the book called the China Study at Chapters btw. Some interesting interpretations of data pointing to a correlation between meat protein and some cancers.

  • Do prunes count?

  • I love blueberries!

  • BLUEBERRIES MAKE ME PREGNANT!

  • I don't any food is a so-called superfood. All natural foods (veggies, fruits etc) are superfoods - nature give us everything we need - everything! So don't focus on superfoods - eat a good variety of foods.

  • Wouldnt all fruits and veggies help prevent colon cancer? The idea that they have fiber to help you expel the food from your digestive tract on a regular basis is what keeps you from getting cancer. (Well, that and their wonderful healthful chemical properties) Otherwise, the starchy, fatty foods that arent good for you sit in your body too long and promote cancer.

    But, I do agree-BLUEBERRIES RULE! ;D

  • Go Blueberries!!! That's why I grow them!

  • i have a blueberry/banana smoothie everyday for breakfast

  • dnt forget foods which cause high bad cholestorol. margerines and butter are bad cos of trans fats etc. if u eat meat, in moderation, lean chicken and turkey, good source of protein. dairy foods usualy no no, exept organic yoghurt. sea salt, almonds sprouted in water, plenty fruit and veg, spinach etc and thats it ur superman

  • butter has no trans fat. margarine does though. in fact, if the butter come from cows that are grass/range fed, there is actually a long list of health benefits it has!!! look it up.

  • I eat organic blueberries/raspberries/strawberries red grapes red plums every day and i love them...thankyou for posting this video.

    Great health to everyone

  • thank you very much

  • Grew up in Maine eating wild blueberries and the stuff they sell in Florida just ain't the same =(

  • @DemonicMe Then you should grow your own. If you now live in Florida, try some of the better tasting Rabbiteye or Southern Highbush varieties. If you live in zone 8a or colder, then try Ozarkblue and Summit. I'm looking into trying Palmetto and Camellia, which are said to be outstanding as well. You might also want to try Elizabeth or Rubel, wild selections which are known for their antioxidant levels and intense flavor. Sunshine blue is a dwarf plant which can be grown in a pot.

  • i for one... love blueberries! :)

  • I too am passionate about the health benefits of antioxidants. For more info contact me through my profile.

  • not really. but plant-BASED diets are best...

  • Rushfann

thats what the last cow i ate said...just kidding ....but realy vegan based diets are deficient in protien for example, the human bodys designed for meat and fish just not in the ammounts modern lifestyles consume

  • Je vous comprend pas ??

  • "les bleuets sont bons pour votre santé." lol

Salut ! Je ne comprend pas votre conseil...

Es ce que vous riez de moi ???????

    Bonne journée

  • My mother went into a nursing home last year. Within a few weeks she developed some sort of crazy bowel disorder. The staff let it go on and on just like it was normal. I myself researched, bought and fed her blueberries one after another. The squirts went away the next day. BTW- She ended up losing her house listed as an asset in order to get onto medicaid. The care we give the old shouldn't cost them like this. What's it going to me in 50 years?

  • @trainlinezoo The best remedy for that would be a yogurt-like drink called Kefir. It is made from lacto-fermented milk. If you like yogurt, you'll love kefir. You can buy kefir starter cultures (grains) on ebay. Use goat, sheep, or cow's milk. Kefir made the traditional way, using grains, contains over 35 different probiotic organisms including many beneficial yeasts. This is far better than an over the counter probiotic, and I guarantee you it will bring results when nothing else will.

  • Thank you, Dr. Steele; I really like your videos!
