I find it interesting that a lot of people's comments are about mental issues like with depression, panic attacks, voices in your head, etc. When the band came up with this song because there was believed to be a ghost haunting their studio at some point and they kept getting scared by it. Perfect song for Halloween really but the beauty of songs is people can develop their own meanings for the song.
