I cannot get over how whenever I see a clip from "Shelter," it makes me feel good, and I think, "I want to watch that movie again." That's truly rare for a film.

Another movie that I watch again from time to time is "The Broken Hearts Club." I find it to be a very touching film. The characters do all care about each other.

Last, but not least, you have convinced me to check out "Prayers For Bobby." It has been featured in several other YouTube lists. ... Now for your other posts.

all but 'Shelter' are crap movies- poorly acted and directed with crappy scripts, I appreciate that 'Prayers for Bobby' is based on a true story and has an educational value though. Still, 'Shelter' is simply amazing- great directing, believable story, decent acting (mostly)- simply a good movie to watch...... and the feel good factor after watching it is just great

I'm glad that you mentioned "Just Une Question D'Amour." It's my favourite gay French movie, and I would put it on my top ten gay movie list, if I were making one. It's not afraid to both show a real love affair and to show just how difficult it can be for gay men to deal with their families. It's very good.

Yes "Sweetie Guy" I was for all intents and purposes Bobby Griffiths' boyfriend, though that word wasn't in common use at the time, we often described ourselves as "Lovers"! I'm actually the only "Love Interest" that Bobby wrote about in his surviving journals!

No "Sweetie" there was no cheating in the "Conventional" sense! Though as a shy 18year old Bobby took me to my first "Bath House"! The lifetime movie doesn't go into it but poor Bobby even "Hustled" on the side! The kid was desperate for validation from almost any quarter! And his Mother "Mary" knows bless her, that had he gotten it from home, he'd likely be among us today! I saw Mary Griffith last month, for the first time since probably 1996! She's a"Champ"!
