  • you were really helpful, great lesson.

  • hahahaha 5:19 :')

  • 5:19 nice

  • I can't understand how do you mute the chords imediatly after playing them (for right hand). So you do something like this: Pick chords>Mute them>Slap chords>Pick chords>Don't mute this time>Up with index>Slap chords. At least this is how I hear it.

If I'm right can you tell me please how you mute the chords?I really want to learn to play this song till Christmas.Thank you very much.

  • this is so advance. cant learn this one in a month i reck'n. ^___^

  • One assumes you are very popular with the ladies.

  • Thanks for the lesson, I use to play in a heavy metal band now i play in a jazz band, your videos are very helpful for picking up new jazz skills, thanks a lot (:

  • Youre the best for doing this =]]]

amazing voice, and even more amazing person for being selfless and kind enough to do this!

Merry Christmas and God bless =D

  • Thank you so much. I don't quite have the musical knowledge or talent to make something like this up, but after watching your video multiple times, I can play it decently enough! It will make me very happy to be able to play this for my friends and family this season. Thank you very much.

  • hey jim. ive watched the three lessons and i must say, i am impressed. i also noticed you havent been on in a while so i was wondering if you can make a progression solo type-thing for the most wonderful time of the year, or white christmas. Yes i frequently think about christmas in july. anyway much appreciated.

p.s. ive been trying to get this song for exactly a year tomorrow and still havent gotten it mostly due to tech failure but... im going to get it

  • 5:19 Niiiiice!

    Very helpfull lesson man!Thanks

  • lol, no tabs for a song you really didn't even write. You must have magical fingerings!

  • lol 2. chord is g FLAT 7 not g MINOR 7

    anyway sweet playing amazing voice

  • Thanks for commenting, but I don't want to confuse people who are learning this. The chord is Gmin7. The root is G the third is Bb (minor third) the fifth is D and the 7 is F. This spells out Gmin7. There is no ambiguity here.

  • @JimKeyes1

haha excuse me i got it wrong ..what i meant was the chord you show after the Fmaj7.. the example of the voicing which has a gFLAT/fSHARP in the bass

    greetz

  • I see what you mean. You're right, that is an F#/Gb chord.

I use that chord to explain to people how to finger a minor 7 shape. I tell them to start with an open A chord and then get a finger up on the sixth string, second fret. Then you can move that shape anywhere you want.

  • @JimKeyes1 The full chord is supposed to be G minor minor 7th, coz it's a G minor chord with a minor 3rd after D.

  • man this is some complicated stuff...... hope i can get it down in time:P

  • Thanks man! Great arrangement!

  • damn i wanna play this but i cant understand so good english could you make tabs maybe? i want to learn it before chrismas

  • I would never have used those chords but now I love them - thanks.

  • thank you for this i love this song and ive always wanted to learn it and you have a great voice

  • You've really got an impressive voice =).

Hope you're doing this good lessons on these perfect arrangements.
