I like Michael Bay's older movies too. I think they are pretty to look at, and lots of fun action, fi y ou want to turn off your mind and just watch a movie, it works. But Boll, has really disappointed me with movies, like really bloody bad movies. I don't mean that as a personal attack, I mean to voice that opinion as a movie goer.

When it comes to micheal bay I think The Island was actually very cool, but back then he didnt really involved himself in the writing like he did in the transformer movies.

They both suck, but Bay takes himself way too seriously. His movies are watchable, but not entertaining. Take away the CGI explosions and there is nothing left.

Boll knows he has no skills, that's why his movies belong into the "so bad, it's good" category.

Also, Postal is hilarious. Boll is just a huge RL troll.

@living117 are you serious?! Rampage wasn't just simply about the rampage. It was technically a bank robbery movie. Under his best friend's identity, he rampages because his friend was the one who believed in all that crap. Then he makes fake money and robs the bank, then goes to his friend in the woods, kills him and makes it look like it was him, escaping with the money...you need to watch it again. It's not as simple as you think. Hell, Bay is not even half as smart as this story so 1-2, bro

Someone who doesn't comprehend or can't sympathize with the psychotic aspects of the story can never like a movie like this. So maybe "Transformers" is your kind of movie and I'm guessing you're about 12.

Uwe boll needs to stop making movies micheal bay may not be the best movie director but he is atleast better than uwe boll. Most of uwe boll's movies get a 2 or lower. The only movie he did that was not absolutely terrible was rampage.

@AlphaBetaSquad Uwe is an indie film maker, not some huge budget hollywood film maker. He likes being able to do things HIS way instead of the formulated BS that people like Bay put out. I think this Uwe is starting to see what he REALLY wants to make instead of what hollywood wants him to make, and that this is a new beginning for him. Just wait and watch, you'll see.

Don't get me wrong, she was good in most roles in other movies, and was great in expanding the resident evil franchise in the first film, but since..... she has just became annoying.

Also, considering how much they hyped Wesker (the ending of the last movie and all the trailers of this one) you would expect he would appear more often, but not in Paul W.S. Andreson's fucked up world. Fuck those movies.

@CameronIsGodless Yes, Rampage was surpisingly good but that's pretty much one good movie out of multible bad ones. Mostly the video game adaptions. Now, I don't hate on him because he's made numerous bad movies. But what really makes it easy to hate him, and make a lot of people dislike him, is what he is doing, such as talking trash about other people's work, hence this video.

This is my opinion but in just the general art of filmaking, Bay's films are better, even if the suckage of Transformers 2 is widely known, Boll's films are bad visually, all Boll's films make no sense even compared to Bay's explosions, Boll cant get alot of an audience, and obviously he's more of a douche. Cmon, who else seriously gets critics and reviewers to go in the ring just because his movies suck so much. And I never seen a Boll movie considered "decent" compared to TF1 and Bad Boys.

@martinxy4 Dunno dude, i respect your opinion but Transformers was so bad that I left the cinema for a quick beer because I needed a break from the cheeziness. Bad boys was so ridiculously corny too.

Obviously Boll makes trashy movies, but he at least has the excuse of a low budget.

Anyway, as someone who has boxed, i respect him beating up his critics, I mean at least he has some originality and does some crazy stuff. Its better than playing Golf on the weekends like most other old guys.

@chris371 I know, Transformers 2 was really terrible, and as a fan of the franchise I was offended by Bay making it look really bad, but alot of people actually did like the first Transformers movie. I can sit through Bay movies, I dislike most actually, but Boll just doesn't do the video game franchise any justice. I honestly dont like how Bay relies on explosions and corniness but at least Im not pissed off unlike Boll. And when I watched some of Boll's movies, they're just so boring.
