i reckon there should be a game that centres around the imperial guard as the main characters, you see alot about the space marines and the orks and yea there are a few games where you can select the guard as a playable race, but the only one that really has a story is dawn of war winter assault. then again there is final liberation but why not a squad based shooter? that could be kinda fun

It's a very LOW budget short film called 'Inquisitor'. Look it up on youtube; it's all there.

You should find links to the two other short clips. One called 'Infestation' where Terminators kill some Genestealers.

And another called 'Blood for the blood god' where Space Marines fight some Orks.

Sounds sweet, but DON'T expect much. As far as films go, they're shit.

Some of the live stuff is final lib, the rest are from films they showed at games day, i got to see one about Dark angels being tricked into thinking a planet was under seige from orks but on arrival, followers of chaos had covertly taken the hive over and murdered the loyal marines. So much footage in this vid, check out Ultramarines the movie, should be out later in the year with any luck ;)

To all fallow up on that live action cut scene stuff. It was stared by command and conquer(to the best of knowledge that is.) and Red Alert(also part of the command and conquer universe.) really made live action scenes famous.

Most of the live action clips are from Final Liberation, but a few are from the old movie. There was a couple early 80 ish GW movies for WH40k. Inquisitor was the only one that ever saw the light of day though. you can find it in full here on you tube. There was also a "Blood for the blood god" and another Tyranid based movie,that I cant remember the name of, but those two were never released that I know of.

a very old epic 40k game predating 2000 i think called final liberation the ones of the angels may not be however i heard of a barely known chaos expansion to the game that may of found its way into the hands of a select few but although the style looks the same i cannot comment with 100% certainty. there are only orks and imperials on my version however there was room for eldar tyranids and chaos but they never truly came to fruition
