Well I am not that young and I don't know what it has to do with general gameplay knowledge but thanks for the tip :P I always seem to unlock it beforehand because I screw up the "jump position".

In my version (International) no armor in any level can be retrieved when backtracking. I noticed that you picked it up in Lv 6. What version is this?

OH! You must be the young player(below 25)of Ghost N' Goblin so you don't know how to get the backtracking armor.

If you want to get the backtracking armor, you need to avoid unlock the armor at the first time you walk through the unlock places. Arthur jumped at Movie Part 2 of 2 time 2:51 was the secret. Check it out!

This is US Arcade version which run by emulator MAME32.
