  • damn ... people charging near double for used gear than what it costs new ...

  • @astro2069 yes, because there are not always available on the market :(

  • So which did you like best? Ever played the MDV? I have a potential trade offer for one, and I'm considering it. Never had a standalone vibe pedal before.

  • @TheUnclesidandthegay KR with the bridge pick up and Mojo with the neck pick up...:)

The MDV is great, but I prefer this three...:)

    Thanks!

  • @immerrocknroll I have a MegaVibe / Gypsy Fuzz / The Doubler for sale if you want to buy them all in one set? If you dont, let me know who would like to. I have them advertised on trademe New Zealand web site. Take a look, i need the cash as im moving. They are all in as new condition. Take a look under my name on here and you will see them on here, i have demos. Get yourself THE JD SCREAMER aswell. Be quick, the KR Musical pedals i have wont last long. All three together! Amazing tone!

  • @nznaturopath I would be very interested in the Megavibe. How much are you selling for including shipping to the US?

  • @TheRealRayJ I will sell it for what i got it for which was 550US plus shipping. You know what they go for eh? It sounds friggin amazing in person eh, simply put, Jimi in a box exactly! Now thats nice tone!

  • Great demos, all great pedals. I'm glad you went with the mojo and thank you. You do know SweetSound is still making the mofaux, mojo, ultra II. Bob Sweet's pedals are known as some of the best.

  • I wish you could have compared the MJM Sixties Vibe with these also... It's really rather hard to tell, they almost all sound the same. The audio quality on this video really kind of sucks huh? I mean you could have at least done it justice by cranking them up a bit eh?

  • @mccraejeremy Unfortunately I don't have the MJM but a friend of mine told me that it's a very great vibe. If you have it try to do a vid, I'll be happy to hear it.

  • @simplexiammine Yeah I heard it was great, I'm actually thinking of getting one, they're like 275 bucks, but if I do get one I'll be sure to post a vid!!

  • @mccraejeremy If you are interested, try to hear the another short vid that I've done, with early balck Sweet Sound Ultra Vibe and Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe +. Enjoy the MJM if you get one!

  • @simplexiammine Oh, which one is that? Where do you get all these pedals man!?? You have a Fulltone '69 vid I see... Those are nice!

  • @mccraejeremy Search in "uploaded videos", you can find the Ultra Vibe and Roger Mayer vid. :) Thanks man!

  • Felice possessore di un Mojo, comunque tutti e 3 bellissimi vibe!

  • @ciclosonico Mojo bellissimo, ottima scelta! :D

  • Went with a mojo vibe and love it. Quick question i know you can switch between vintage and modern. But what exactly does the drop switch control?

  • @MrHermitMyers Great, enjoy the Mojo! :)

The switch in vintage position set the sound more soft to my ears; in modern setting the effect is more strong in the modulation wave...

  • another question sorry. It is just that you have the best demo via youtube. But with the vintage/modern internal switch on the aqua and the mojo is there any big difference when engaged. And any big difference between the two on that manner?

  • @MrHermitMyers With vintage setting the effect is more soft to my ears, with modern setting the effect change a little the range and the depth to my ears; but it is only a little difference.

  • damnit man you just made my decision harder

  • @MrHermitMyers Eheheheh...it's a difficult decision...but anyway a good decision! :D

  • @simplexiammine I am really leaning towards the aqua. However, i do like the mega but i dont want to deal with KR. Any major differences between these two? Demo sounds great but i know that you cannot get the full affect through a youtube video.

  • @MrHermitMyers Aquavibe is a little brighter than KR and you can select (with internal trimmer) output volume and vintage / modern sound. KR sounds deeper, but in some situations it may need a boost (it does not have a drop in volume, but it is not easy to have a definite effect through the mixer).

About the price I suggest Mojo Vibe or Aquavibe. :)

  • @simplexiammine Been on the waiting list for awhile and no word on the aqua. Was looking at one on ebay and it just sold. Looking at a smaller mega and the mojo. Dunno how i feel about the mojo.

  • @simplexiammine if price is not an issue would you then say go for the mega? There is a mojo on ebay right now for 250, but its blue and i dont recall a mojo ever being blue.

  • @MrHermitMyers It's diffcult to suggest you... Probably now my choiche would be an early Ultra Vibe or the Mojo Vibe.

  • @simplexiammine i appreciate all the input for sure. If you ever want to get rid of that aqua holler..

    Thanks

  • great video man ! thank you ! really helpfull! wich one of these do you suggest for humbucker? the mojo has a tone knob?

  • @rowsler I suggest Mojo, the most versatile; it has an internal trimmer to set a vintage warm sound or a modern with buffer. The KR is fantastic but less usable in every situation (with humbuckers it is very good imho).

  • @rowsler Thx for your kind words! :)

  • mojo vibe!!!

  • @dantemmm It's difficult to choose from a clip... but my ranking now (I change my mind often...) is:

    1. Megavibe (very deep, warm, little bit dark, but not enough volume)

    2. Mojovibe (bright, great and warm phase)

    3. Aquavibe (great controls, smaller, foxrox quality)

    All are great anyway! :)

  • @simplexiammine ehm... now probably.... Mojo, Aqua, KR... :)
