Thanks so much for posting this!! I had that very LP as a 13/14yr old and I thought Duane was the 'greatest guitarist ever'..over the top of course, but he did do some great work and this one is one where he proves that a '55 Gretsch and a strings section works!!
@182BEVERLEI Ha! Sometimes them Birds just love playing hard to get Chris! With your charm I am sure that that is not a problem. Take care my Friend and thanks so much for watching!
Jim, I've never heard this version, it's always been Boots Randolph and then Mr. Acker Bilk. It was only a few years ago that I discovered that the song had lyrics when I heard Val Doonican's cover! This song always reminds me of my Dad. I guess cuz he always played it! Thanks for this wonderful version - Eman
@SQDLVR You are very welcome Eman! Great song by all those mentioned above. I would add Andy Williams name to the list. He does a wonderful job on it also. Thanks so much for listening this one!
@46807nipster Jim really? Andy Williams? Wow! My Dad told me once he had a record with Anita Bryant singing it? I laughed and said is that the Orange Juice lady and he shot me this look and said yes..and don't forget Annette Funiciello was the peanut butter lady and laughed..
You just keep posting some of my favorite melodies...ones that I've forgotten all about. Then I find them all over again here in your videos! Thanks Jim for another "remembered memory"!
@mauidreamer2801 Hi Roni! I am so glad you are enjoying them! Hopefully I can post some more that you will like. Thank you so much for listening! Good memories are something special, for sure.
Hi Jim, Very nice!! I always liked Duane Eddy....Good upload friend...um I mean Bossman. hahaha You do know that he was married t0 Jessi Colter @ one time...she later on married Waylon Jennings? ok ok I'm headed back to the plow!! lol hugs, Jim x
@YCSMusic Ha! You know me Steve! I always seem to need a Pretty Face etc. around. Yes, that Lovely Lady is Dorothy Lamour, famous actress from days gone by. Of course, Mr. Twang does his usual great work on anything he records. Thanks so much for watching!

Gosh , i was on the shore last week ( as it's only 70 miles away from us ) , and after swimming i was hungry ,just as on the 1:10 picture .
Wasn't really good time for birdwatchin' , haha...
Next time i'll take this tune from Duane with me , maybe the "birds" would spend a little more attention to me .....
Chris.
