  • It's great! They're all so young -- what power they have already.

  • I'm pretty sure i watched this same video in school (:

  • synhro ssss... " .. amazing .. laete micos, but somegow i found this to be amazing too :)

  • I've seen a lot of taiko, but that was INCREDIBLE. I mean, I got a better feeling from that than I have from seeing some live acts, and that's pretty darn impressive.

  • this is so Freakin awesome. i dont really mind the cheering in the Background it adds to this a lot for me i would love to play one of those one day.

  • i loved when they did this for my high school a couple years back. so awesome!

  • I love the beat from 2:04 - 2:21

  • so much fun energy and skill. high quality audio recording too makes this a great video

  • Brilliant work! So inspiring..Keep it up you guys.

  • I loved this!!!! Hope to see it live someday.

  • Oh man.. I could watch these guys all day!

  • YEAH THIS IS SOO AMAZING XDDDDD very GOOD

  • Just last weekend I saw a Taiko drum performance at the Spurlock Museum on our universities campus in Champaign Urbana. The drummers were good and the songs they performed were very intense I enjoyed it very much; I can't help but see however that this group seems to have more energy to their performance.

  • absolute showmanship wt passion...xo tomo arigato for posting....

  • very well done

  • amanzing!

  • Just yesterday i had the great pleasure to work with this amazing group of people at the Northwest Auditorium at UCLA and there is only one word to describe this group. FANTASTIC.

  • Taiko is probably the most badass thing there ever was.

  • Amazing! Wish the people cheering would shutup LOL!

  • Love the showmanship.

  • very nice

  • Is it just me or are the women drummers kinda hot???

  • @GeneralG1810 yeh i think so 2

  • This is so amazing Hope i can join this kind of music instrument in Viet Nam .... lol i love everything started from Japan xD

  • Its supost to scream wtf if theyr werent those japanese screams ect it would take away taiko atmosphere .... imagen a battle field with taiko drums and samurai crys... makes uwanna go woop ass lol

  • 29 people are completely DEAF

  • 0:21 sounds like Nightwish "Amaranth"

  • That was awesome!!

  • Good times...:)

  • What type of legal process would I need to go through to sample a small segment of this?

  • For those of you who are drummers (and old enough to remember) many of the rhythms are similar to those used by the late great Gene Krupa.

  • @rubymickey - Granted, I can see (hear) the similarities ... but, um, Taiko has been around for many, many centuries longer than Gene Krupa was alive. =) I think it more likely that *he* used the rhythms associated with Taiko rather than the other way around.

  • It's a spiritual thing. Taiko to me is the sound of a warrior and the beat of the drums makes your ki stronger with each beat. No wonder ther est of the team backstage cant contain themselves. It pumps you up so much. Adrenaline and endorphins mix and you feel like you can take on the world.

  • Now thats a real drum roll

Thats what i call useing one instrament too its full potential

  • come to Australia please

  • Boy, wouldn't it be embarrassing if one of them dropped the stick...

  • someone should use audience filtering on this video

  • @drecklia thats not the audience it's our team lol

  • @drecklia Those screams are not from the audience. The crew screams at the player to give 'em strength. Those guys are warriors!

  • @drecklia I'm going to guess that you have never been to a Taiko/Japanese Drum performance live before have you... :) there's always yelling mostly from the drummers and their support crew to give either energy and encouragement..

  • @Cirin29 >either...and

    > lol wut?

  • Every one loves hip hop. yeah we know.

  • this is amazing i love this thanks for uploading

  • Alguém sabe que música que eles tocam usando somente a flauta e as baquetas? No caso é a primeira música.

  • Who knows what was the name of first music? with the flute and the drums?

  • @Caretti2 That was "Push It" by Salt-N-Pepa. That fact still blows my mind.

  • I love how the guy loses his drum stick at 4:55. :-) He makes up for it with a great performance, though. As does his whole group.

  • steady, punk kids also play taiko...

    u rock dude...!!!

  • Za Za!!

  • Carai con el publico. Es que no saben apreciar un buen espectáculo sin berrear de manera que parezca que los están degollando?

  • Love the energy!!!

Its looks so much fun and

    you guys definatly look like

    you're having fun!!

  • I saw Tokyo Dagekidan when I was 14, and I can honestly say few performances have ever kicked me in the gut in quite the same way as proper taiko drumming. If you ever get a chance to see some live, take it. It's a completely different experience when you can feel the air in your lungs vibrating!

  • Awesome! Love the energy! I love to see musicians have a great time on stage!

Btw, 27 people can't keep a beat with their toe.
