You just explained what I have been searching to find words for, both in his life and in my own. But I think 'who' Michael really was, was destroyed as a child, having to perform in sex clubs 5 shows a night, 6 days a week. He knew it, he tried to fix it and couldn't. A lot was broken. Finally seeing he was unfixable, he gave up. xo - tink

I think he had reasons to behave that way he did. He had a very low selfesteem. He was feeling insecure because of the way his father and cousins treated him. Being a very sensitive person he couldn't get over what he experianced as a child. Thank you for sharing.....

Thank you for doing this. I definitely agree with you, and to be honest, I was not surprised when I heard that Michael Jackson had died, He was obviously a troubled soul, and I think that everything that he experienced and all of the trauma just finally won out. A lot of people struggle with self-image and use plastic surgery as a mechanism to help deal with that struggle, and I think it is pretty fair to assume that Michael tried to change his appearance for that reason.
