The reaction of the Israelis around him trying to console him was the common reaction in Israel (I was in Israel at the time & saw many adults crying). The difference is that Israel has the ability to wipe out Gaza in days. Even the Sri Laken gov't killed over 20,000 in last 3 days of fighting. Israel didn't do that. Israel makes mistakes but unlike Hamas who CALLS 5 year olds to die, and who specifically target civilians with 6,000 rockets (thankfully they are incompetent and Israelis have advanced warning systems etc.).
