@tgolledge F16 is a bit more stable, bigger and comes rx ready. I think the E-flite one needs more parts, smaller and more agile probably, and depends what you put in it for power
neither of them is hard to fly, but not a beginner aircraft, get a parkzone trojan, or Hobbyzone supercub if you have no NO skills. EDF jets are harder to fly than prop planes, can't slow down unless you know how to fly em
Nice flying and camera work, excellent video. I have a 70 mm ducted F16 still not flown it yet, too windy in the UK, will fly without landing gear now i've seen your video.
Thanks a lot jeffers444, need to give some of these EDFs a good throw, get em moving fast enough so they do'nt stall on the hand launch, but if they have enough power, usually good. Get someone to throw it for you first time if you can. Check out some of the newest stuff in HD, and the Jet Rally video from the Princeton Jet Rally, for turbine action
Hi mate i still haven't flown my F16 yet, its always calm through the week when i'm at work, come the weekend howling winds and rain.. still practicing with my electric P51 mustang.. i'll check your other vids out..
i have the stock motor and speed control in it and a 2100 ma baterry pack in my eflite f16 it feels a little heavy when i hold it is that the way its suppose to feel?
Thanks a lot, first song is Battleship Chains by Georgia Sattelites I think, and 2nd is Higher Ground Stevie Wonder remake by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, cool songs
I really appreciate the AWSOME camera work in this video, i know how hard it is trying to zoom in and track a small plane turning and burning below the tree line. So many rc plane vids are just an out of focus spec in the sky. Check out my wife's camera effort on my 'Me 262 greatest hits' vid. By the way: what made you go for the E-flight rather than the phase 3 f-16?
Thanks a lot, I know what you mean about most RC aircraft vids. I try to make an effort to get a good pic of these things in the air, because some do look so good. I've actually checked out a couple of your vids, and your wife does a lot better than some. Buddy actually owns the E-flite one, I was just throwing for him. It's new, and was in stock at the lhs. Myself, I like the Hobby Lobby one much better, more power, bigger, and the intake on the e-flite not so scale. thanks for watchin
Great flying and great camera shots. Beautiful slow motion shots against a nice backgound. If you used the same 3 cell battery in both planes, which would have the better performance?
Thanks a lot! Both planes would not be able to use the same battery. The Hobby Lobby F16 is a 70mm fan and requires a 4 cell battery in it. I guess the answer is, the E-flite F16 would have better performance lol I don't think the HL one would fly, just not enough rpm
That's all stock, no problem for hand launches. I am using a 25C battery instead of the one it came with, little more oomph but the stock one works fine. Thanks for watching
nasanction, I think the hobby lobby one is better, no rx but all servos esc fans and motors installed, for 269 plus shipping? The E-flite is $200 and you have to add esc and four servos I think, and the hobby lobby one comes with a 4 cell battery
ha ha you are right what setup should i use to have plenty of power and not throw like a girl lol im a duke heli pilot medivac thanks alot and i love all your videos again thank you for all your advice
you're a medivac pilot? nice job You fly helis for long?
Buddy that had the F16 in this video converted all of the power system, but that's not nessecary. Just a motor and esc that can take a 2200 4 cell would be great. Your local hobby shop might have suggestions for the esc motor combo. The stock fan should be good enough for only a 4 cell upgrade, but nothing like excess and putting a high output carbon fibre fan too haha Sorry dont have exact motor specs, but 4 cell, say a 3500kv?80amp
How good is the foam and landing gear on the Hobby Lobby model?
Maxzoe20 1 year ago
@Maxzoe20 foam is pretty good, makes clean breaks if something happens. Gear is pretty bad, concrete or pavement only

so which do you prefer/reccomend? which is faster, more stable ETC?

ohiorc 2 years ago
which one?
warderseeker 2 years ago
The E-flite one, should take off in 50 feet or so, depending on weight and CG, nice EDF

11DUSTOFF 2 years ago
Didn't know it came with stock esc, motor maybe. 2100 should be fine, not 1:1 power but will fly if you dont' throw like a girl lol
warderseeker 2 years ago
very nice i havent flew my eflite f16 yet afraid my 2100 3 cell might not be enoughpower
11DUSTOFF 2 years ago
it should be enough power. What motor and speed controller do you have in there? I'm sure it's enough though
warderseeker 2 years ago
i have the stosk setup from factory 2100 ma batery it feels a little heavy to me i dont know ive never flown electric jets what do you think?
11DUSTOFF 2 years ago
Awesome, how fast would you say it goes in level flight?
CubworksLL 2 years ago
The E-flite one that is.
CubworksLL 2 years ago
E-flite one probably with a 3cell can do 80mph, buddy has put a bigger motor and 4cell in it and doing closer to 90
warderseeker 2 years ago
WOW, well I am getting it in about 2 weeks!
Thanks lots for the info.

what type of battery should i use for my eflite f16 i have an rcblitz 3 cell 2100 in it now is that enough?

Noticed the nice hand launch and would like to know if it flies with the standard setup.
