  • Awesome band I heard them at a clinic yesterday, drumset with cuban music is absolutely amazing!

  • Una aberracion de talento, demasiado bueno.

  • this man was the one who invented the timba sound, that's the modern Cuban salsa sound you hear in all their groups nowadays

  • @affiliate30

Agreed! His work with NG, Issac and later Klimax took what Blas Egues, Changuito and Calixto were doing and built on it. I also, think the grooves that Herlan and Ludwig did with Bamboleo added to the Timba drumming vocabulary.

  • MI TìO ACABO AHI..!!!!

  • Considering that he is a band leader, composer, arranger, virtuoso, and all around nice guy, he should have instructional videos, modern drummer covers, and a yearly seminar/workshop/guest instructor tour somewhat like Changuito. Mark my words one day books will be written about this man, its just too bad that his rightfull place among the drumming legends of our time is taking so long.

  • this is what you get when education is socialized and rehearsals are "paid-for" (none of that "take short solos" xrap).

also when you have a 30 year break from rampant commercialism and don't feed the public pablum that's both easy to swallow and produce.

Give the public something great and they'll only be satisfied with better and better ...

  • Incredible!TREMENDA MUSICA!!!
