Just came back from Yad Vashem very moving. No one is saying Israel doesn't have problems, however, if you understood their history I believe as a humanitarian they deserve a homeland, which Turkey and Britain ambigiously provided.
Being a president you take the responsibility of millions and for China a couple billion. Now majority of us have problems being responsible of ourselves and families, why we put trust on one person to do something we try on a consistent basis to be , as in responsible, is embarrasing. Im keeping it real, I'm real tired of politics and all the clandestine crap they doing behind our noble backs. They are responsible to make this world a better place and who really thinks they could? im all peace
Dud don't you get it? The media makes you feel that the only real vote is republican or democrat. Why? 1. the media is controlled by corporations. 2. they both do the same thing. Look at history. Bush Sr. started, Clinton continued, Bush added, and it's like the grab to be nominated and take the job. Obama is bad. Mccain is worse. What's obama's stance? I sincerely don't know. Look at his speeches. They're very vague. even after the primaries he changed positions about iraq, phone tapping...
a) he will sanction iran if he has too, but will actually talk with leadership of that country in order to see if diplomatic solutions are available. (what a head of state is supposed to do by law in the constitution). The Bush administration talked to N. Korea and that worked out, why does Bush refuse to talk to the Iranians?
b) Government sanctioned healthcare insurance. We are the only developed nation in the world without it. I am sick of having 3rd world gov. healthcare
c) He will secure the nation, but you should be more concerned about our economic and political well-being. Our founding fathers hated giving up certain rights for security. We should be looking to fix our economy and communities as a top priority.
Just to let you know I am a Jewish American and a full supporter of Obama.
Any time I see Obama talking or taking a speech I am impressed and I can't help it, but he is like a god talking about all the good stuff that could happen to the world, when he gets president. So America, please vote for this man. Even if he can't make everything come true just the half of it could help us all.
Sorry for my bad english, but I am not a native speaker ;)
Barack Obama you will be the president of America and the world comes November as the world has been waiting for peace not repeatition of war by John Mccain and the Republican. The continuation of George Bush.Well trip and vision by Obama. Job well done. God guidiance for Obama.
In human history, very few times and very few people rise up from no where to represent and make difference to the well being of common man.
In a world hungry for a CHANGE, Obama defies all odds, discrediting the corrupt career professional politicians & the profiteers of the military industrial complex, while proving to the ordinary man that there's a better alternatives to fear, war, death and destruction.
Any wonder the man is being received as a new Messiah, every where in the world.
As educated Americans who actually read about events around the globe, we are more than a little dismayed that Mr. Obama has pandered - extensively - to Zionist Israel when SO MANY Palestinians are being victimized daily by their fascist regime.
Israel consistently breaks international law, mocks U.N. sanctions, has 100 illegal nuclear warheads, and laughs about its own control over U.S. politicians --- so now, exactly WHY does Mr. Obama still see that nasty little country as the "victim"???
at 1:55- his daughter's are looking forward to it? "Daddy! We're bored with the Holocaust Museum in D.C.! We want to go to the real Holocaust Museum in Israel!! Please!! Please can we go!!
Admiral Thomas Moorer, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff under Ronald Reagan said this:
"I've never seen a President -- I don't care who he is -- stand up to them [the Israelis]. It just boggles the mind. They always get what they want. The Israelis know what is going on all the time. If the American people understood what a grip those people have got on our government, they would rise up in arms. Our citizens certainly don't have any idea what goes on."
"Their greatest danger to this country lies in the Jewish ownership and influence in our motion pictures, our press, our radio, and our government."
While a guest on ABC's Face the Nation, William Fulbright - US Senator and Chairman of the US Foreign Relations committee - said this before a national television audience:
"Israel controls the United States Senate. We should be more concerned about the United States' interests."

First, I would like to say that I am a big supporter of Obama. I noticed that all candidates MUST show full loyalty to a foriegn country (Israel) because the powerful pro Israel lobby controls American media, etc. I suggest then to have the American presidency campaign carried out in Israel and whoever is selected by the Israelis become the president. Billions of dollars can be saved in this way because Israel is much smaller in area than the US!. Does anyone support this practical suggestion?.
As a german I feel the need to say something about this man, particularly when he speaks at a place like this. This fine man exemplifies everything that I want from someone who prusuits politics as his profession. Albeit, he is still a politician and wants to be elected. He might be a good president, but he is no left wing messiah for sure. Still, I would give my heart to him gladly as he is my only choice and maybe my only hope for a better future.
Well, I think wearing the kippah pretty much puts the Muslim rumors too bed. I know about 1.5 billion Muslims who wouldn't be caught dead wearing one.
you are so dead wrong subfusc8, i am a muslim and i do not see anything wrong with the kippah...get a life, for you do not speak for muslims...and your hatred shows
going some place to pay respects does not become a photo op just because the press shows up to take pictures. The Israeli government was obviously fine with allowing this to be photographed and I think its important for the world to hear and see what just took place. Its very moving and in fact educational.
Sup World, this is America. Yea, we are going to elect Obama, but we need your help, if you have family in America PLEASE contact them and explain to them how important this is. Obama will get elected, but the intensity behind is movement, and the progressive movement is what will determine the next 4 years. The Democratic party will meet Barack halfway on most of his ideas, but we need new and better Democrats elected this fall if we are going to make the changes that are needed.
that's our man the man of AMERICA, the man of the WORLD, let's vote for Obama and you will be safe and comfortable in our country that we love VOTE CHANGE VOTE OBAMA THANK YOU.
From the U.S.A: Obama 08! If McCain wins I'm moving to Canada! Although right now I'm glad to say that it seems that he will be the next president. :)
That's what they want you to think. Both accomplish the same thing. Look in history. It's like a fake sense of security that we're made to feel. And again, a fake sense of ability to decide. Do you honestly believe that our votes aren't rigged? WAKE UP!
1st african american to be president of the USA, a great step on the civil rights movement and a great step for America to improve itself. The Bush hurricane has razed and ruined our economy, let Obama be the calm after the storm.
LifeinaRaindrop, are you on drugs? I am a Jewish-Israeli citizen. walk up to any Arab-Israeli and they will tell you they enjoy exactly the same rights as us. As a matter of fact, our embassador to Finland is a practicing Muslim and some of our highest raninking leaders are non-Jews. To say we have a caste systems requires and abysmal ignorance or deliberate bigotry. Jews and Arabs in Israel share exactly the same rights.
BenJB07: Israeli Arabs are not allowed to build homes on land they own because you do not give them building permits. Very little money is allocated to Arab municipalities in Israel as compared to Jewish ones. Peaceful demonstrations of Arab Israelis are met with live bullets (The case where you killed 13 Israeli Arabs in a peaceful demonstration is well known). Please take off your thick Israeli eyeglasses and see the racist nature of your country!.
do you have to wear a yamaka inside or something becuase i dont think he should be wearing just as a sign of respect my understanding was that it was a symbol of your committment to Jewish ways (anyone actually know)?
You should wear a yarmulke when entering any Jewish place of worship it is certainly appropriate and a sign of respect. I for example only wear a yarmulke when in service and if I brought a friend who was not Jewish he could choose but it would be shown as a personal sign of respect and humbleness for someone of another faith 2 put on a yarmulke. Its certainly a choice and I feel he made the right one if thats what you're asking. If I were with him to me it would show part of his character.
my friend's always were respectful enough to don a kippah with me when entering a synogogue, but they didn't have a choice :).. I would've told them to wait outside if they didn't.. I do believe that gentiles should respect Judaism based on the FACT that w/out Judaism, thier religious belief is null and void..
its not a yamaha, or a yamaka, it is a yamulke I believe or is that Yiddish, maybe you can spell it both ways. I am proud that Obama is in Israel experiencing the culture of the people. All the people, he will see that the jews & muslims, arabs, live side by side in Israel in harmony, like any multi-diversified population. I am happy he got to see how it really is. I feel better about voting for him now.
I am glad he went there. I visited some camps in Poland and going there is a totally different experience. Personally, I could feel some of the heart ache as I walked there. No one should forget this terrible time in the world's history. What everyone should know is that the holocaust extends well beyond Jews and includes all of humanity. I was very surprised by this when I visited the camps and saw the monuments and the international flags etc. Bravo Barack.
Nice to see Obama expressing sentimentality for the nightmare of the holocaust, now lets hear him say clearly we will never allow another holocaust again via a vis Iran.
