My fellow Texas Atheists! It's so good to see humans doing something good for others. I like the live action and interview/talk show format.

Yay for AHH. Is the organization formatted so that it's mobile? Or can be copied into another city?

From the beginning of this group, we've said that it would be great if this idea were to be copied in other cities that have a lot of homeless people. Even the name is up for grabs, providing they do two things: Make helping the homeless their #1 priority, and NEVER preach.

We've already heard from other folks who are working up plans to do just that. :o)

If you make bags up before might it help to make smaller bags without some of the longer lasting items so if people come back they don't cost you extra on things they don't need so your budget can go further.

Yeah we're wrestling with new ideas, and trying lots of different things. Growing pains too.

This time we did both, pre-packaged and not, and we'll probably do something like that for the time being. We like how it's laid-back and relaxed and low-pressure. But as we grow, so do our chores in the matter. It's good to be alive!

you are good people. where do the homeless people take a dump at to use the tp for their bung holes? LOL. you should get a sponser for the back packs. some corporate swine would donate for some ad on the windshield.
