How do you get the bell cricket and the last insect in the left corner??

@deviantmuffi: Bell crickets can be found in September and October, in the overnight hours. That's the pond skater in the bottom-left corner. They can be found on ponds from June-September from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Yes, it works the same way as a spider. Try going back and forth between two acres, shaking a tree and then going back to the other one. You'll eventually get it.

SamRulesProductions: For an ant, try placing candy or turnips on the ground and leave them there. Check back every so often, and you should eventually find ants on it. There aren't any regular flies in the game, though.

What do you mean "regular" flies? 'Cause I meant like the flies that appear when you have a lot of weeds. That's just in Wild World and City Folk, I think, though.

Baha, I know. There are a jillion different FAQ's and Guides that all say different things about how to catch insects. One says I can catch a giant beetle from 11:00pm to 8:00 am. The other one says I can catch one from 12:00 to 7:00, but either way, I'm taking my chances and getting up at 6:00 tomorrow. I mostly read user-created guides when I need help, but I usually go to Animal Crossing Ahead first. :P

I'd like to say that I completed the insect collection with a Banded Dragonfly and my fish collection with a Dorado. But really, the fifth fish I caught was a Dorado and the seventh insect I caught was a Banded dragonfly. Sadly, they were the easiest things I caught.
