@sokarazie Totally love that book! The first story always gets me. :) Another fave of mine is Small Miracles. All true stories. There are several that always get to me: the one about the son and father, and the little boy who'd throw an apple over the fence in the German concentration camp (people in that story were featured on Oprah).
hmmm, isnt this question asking for a judgement itself? Judgement is a part of life. Without it you might as well be a rock. It may be more of a question of what scale you judge upon and what you do with your judgement.
i believe that judgements closes our mind ... you really can't judge anyone unless you have been in there shoe.... even then judgement is really negitive i believe it closes our heart to having a loving intimate relationship with others and ourselves... what maybe right to you is wrong for others and whats wrong for others maybe right for you....
I recall talking with someone about this. Judgment seems to have a negative connotation. Perhaps another word would be discerning, which would allow us to still observe and make hopefully wise decisions.
As humans, we ALL judge. We judge each other immediately, even if we do not do it consciously. Judgment is drawing conclusions, we all do it, we can not help it.
Yes. However, we can choose to be cognizant of our judgments, which would at the very least, significantly reduce them. It would be like reprogramming ourselves to kick a bad habit. IMO ~
i personally judge my life just because i know the struggles I've been through will eventually have its ups and it would only make my life story more powerful if i was to tell my story to anyone.
live life to the fullest. embrace everything around you because they are blessings. just be sure that your life is something you would want to watch.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Yes, I love that all things whether we deem them as good" or bad are "good" aka blessings. Love the "movie" analogy :)

as much as i think judgement is a negitive thing ... I'm human and i can't help but make judgements on things that don't work for me.

@sokarazie Yes, that's wise. As I responded to @izzyjb, perhaps that would be considered discernment?

@sokarazie Yes, totally agree. How do we or you in this instance not pass judgment on others? Aren't we always assessing others to some degree?
