@CoolerThanSora Well, first off, Canadian and American conventions usually don't allow alcohol on the premises XD ALcon was dubbed AlcoholCon lol Otherwise, I guess they are mostly the same... It just felt different.

I hope your experience with French people dont discourage you from visiting Europe again some time. There are some countries in europe where they just wanna speak their own language and dont care much for people who dont speak it while they are there. Germany is another example where people just dont learn english because everything in television is dubbed to their own language. But I can almost guarentee that it wont happen in Scandanavia so you shouldnt worry too much about your next trip

I've been to France a lot and yes the French people are incredibly rude if you don't speak their language, but the Germans are some of the nicest people I've ever met and I've yet to meet one who doesn't speak at least a little basic English.

Hi, being French , I know how impolite they can be but that also depends on which part of France you went to. I've found that the central/ Parisian regions aren't as heart warming, kind & polite as the south/ south east regions.
