the only part i thought the only scary part in the movie was when it shows the people sewing LiLi's mouth shut but my friend thought everything was scary cause we watched it last night at 11 :00PM

in this movie it really doesnt follow the first one in the middle and end but in the beginning the cops think that it is mimiko who is still killin every1 but they r confused cus there is no candy in the victums mouth. it is until they c mimikos grandpa dead they start to think that its not mimiko killin at this time. but later they find out that its a girl named li li who is the killer. who died b4 mimiko but is bak to kill pple who laughed at hr. but she copyed mimikos ringtone so they r

appariently you still hear your death and die, also if you answer it and its not your phone or your voice you end up dying instead of the intended person. This is according to the manga version, I'm not sure how closely the movie follows the manga

There was some very creative imagery though, like the room with the different knives hanging from the ceiling. And I enjoyed the ending twist, where it turned out that the girl was actually dead.

I've seen the third one, with rather crude subs, however...

It kinda made sense, but leaves a few unanswered questions and suggests a few things that simply do not make sense at all...

the girl in the end was posessed by lili and killed him thats why he was screaming at her and she was freaking out when she wakes up she is a ghost (she dosn't see herself lying on the ground dying) at the end the candy comes out her mouth and she realises she's a ghost and was possesed when she killed him and just like yumi in the 1st she becomes evil

at the end yumi is possesed by mimiko and stabs the guy and takes him to the hospital when he wakes up he's alive and yumi has turned evil either by mimiko or her abbusive parent and holds the knife behind her she then puts a candy in his mouth so he thinks she is mimiko and the police do too, she then kills him (as revealed in chakushin ari 2) and dissapears and either dies or gets murdered yet again revealed in chaushin ari 2

Honestly, so far I'm not liking the America remakes of the Asian films. I made the mistake to trust the remake of Shutter because of the director of the Grudge. I got spoiled by the original. The Original gave me more jump moments than the American one. Plus, I like how in the Thai version you want to actually love the male char. and feel -bit- sorry for him. American one they made him into an asshole. So avoid Shutter remake and stick to the original.

One Missed Call 2 surprised.

Like..in all honesty, I was amazed it was any good, even if it was an average film. Haha.

I'm usually pretty open minded for sequels, but my initial thought was: "Why? You had such a good thing, even if the ending was kind of..weird. Why screw that up?"

I'm glad it was a different girl, this time. I would've been mad if they made it the same girl.

Usually sequels don't live up to the original, but it seems that this one is pretty decent. Nice review, by the way.
