I like this song....no..I like Fairy King....no..I like....in the lap......I give up, how can a band make it so difficult to have a favourite track?
Right! I like The Show Must Go On......no, youtube just found another track for me so I now like Queen at Live Aid, the best, the top, the champio......oh look, another Queen track :) I wonder if my wife will ever see me agai....oooh another Queen track.
I saw Queen on the News of The World Tour in Portland Maine 1976-1977 I guess. They did not do this or too much off of this album. I think they did Keep Yourself Alive. They didn't do anything off of Queen II....I was disappointed
You know when you listen to an album and you have that "first" favorite song, before you start to listen and like all the songs? This was my "first" other than Great King Rat. I remember listening and going, "Damn! Mercury's voice is soo high!"
you forget "Queen II", "A Day At The Races", "News of the World", "Jazz", "The Game", "Hot Space", "The Works", "A Kind of Magic", "The Miracle", "Innuendo" and "Made in Heaven" ...
brian may said somewhere that the beatles inspired this song!Love the song thankx for the awesome post! Now i can listen and see if i want to buy the album

Did they ever do this live?
rekoonsghjkl 2 years ago
Appears to me that this is a hard song to perform live. If you can't find live vids of this song, it was probably never performed live.

@rekoonsghjkl I think I have a live version of this somewhere, but I'm not sure. It would be hard to perform live.
Drag0nfoxx 2 years ago
@Drag0nfoxx Yeah they did play it live but I read it was only played in the early concerts and it's unsure that it was recorded.

You can tell it from the line ''Lucy was high, and so was I'' which quotes the Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
