i've seen shayla worley stick it in this practice for the 08 american cup, but usually when u see a gymnast stick a 1.5, they dont get much distance from the horse

I think the lack of distance really killed her score. If you had gotten more, she might have gotten at leasy 9.412.

Not a whole lot to deduct on that vault. She certainly got ripped on the score. Perhaps could have had a little more distance, but it was still done extremely well.
