  • looks very good on the mac mini

  • Cmon man what's the point of making a graphics testing video if you don't show how many fps you're getting.

  • Btw if you already have a wireless apple keyboard magic mouse and a third party or apple brand monitor, I would suggest gong with the Mac Mini. There is no point in haing to buy the monitor and stated accesories over again when you already have perfectly good ones. I have an older macbook that I still use for moility but I mostly use the iPad 2 for surfing the web.

  • Thanks! Im gonna get a mac mini (old school 2007 macbook just isnt fast enough for modern activities. Im gonna max mine out like yours!

  • How did you dl it on your computer

  • Hi DrNoreply. I want to ask you a question. I have a laptop that can run starcraft 2 on medium settings. I have some on low because it lags a bit. If I buy this product, will it be able to work with my computer and at the same time get to use macintosh lion as well as play starcraft 2 on it? Or do I need a separate screen or something?

  • @alfnsochic The mac mini does not come with a monitor

  • @GotKn1fe what does that mean?

  • @GotKn1fe But will I play sc2 multiplayer with no problem? If it cant work with my pc, can it be pluged into it? Cuz i dont have separate keyboard

  • @alfnsochic Plugged into what?

  • @alfnsochic

Mac Mini can not be plugged into your laptop.

The main appeal of the Mac Mini is that it is perfect for people transferring from Windows to Mac, as they already have a mouse, keyboard, monitor. If you are buying a Mac Mini as your first computer or are coming from a laptop, doesn't make much sense once you add the price of the Apple Keyboard, Trackpad/Mouse, and monitor. After all that is added, mac mini will be around $1000, so you might as well get the base iMac.

  • @nickdog670 How did you get 1,000 dollars? The only thing you should really get is an apple keyboard. 75 dollars max. Use any cheap 20 dollar mouse, and it's work fine. Any 20 dollar monitor would also work fine. Starting at 600 dollars, that's only about 720 dollars. However, iMac is always the best price since Apple Displays go for 1,000 dollars, and the iMac is an Apple Display as well.

  • @Rifalltoo

Did you even read any of the posts from the guy I was talking to? He wanted to game, so obviously he wants the Mac Mini with the dedicated GPU. And if you are a gamer you will not use a cheap 20 dollar mouse obviously because those are shit. Why don't you read before you post?

  • @nickdog670 I was replying to you about what you said, not to him about what he said. So F-off.

  • @alfnsochic

Not only that, the base iMac has better specs than the Mini, comes with an IPS screen panel (the best screen panel, highest quality), and it has a keyboard and magic mouse/trackpad included.

So in your situation, might as well get the iMac since you don't even own a keyboard or mouse or monitor to use for the mini.

  • @nickdog670 Ohh, how much is the Imac you are talking about? I cant affoard 1000 bucks and up just lower. If its rlly that great ill just save up my money.

  • @alfnsochic

Even if you did get the Mini you would still have to buy the keyboard, mouse, and a monitor, looking at $200+ for all of that. All the iMacs come with an Apple wireless keyboard and your choice of either the Magic Trackpad or Magic Mouse, or wired mouse and keyboard (cheaper).

If you go to the Apple website and click on Mac then iMac, click buy now. There should be 4 models on the page. There is a base model for the 21 and 27, base is just the lower-end model, still is great!

  • @nickdog670 well, actually, any keyboard, mouse, and monitor you have will work with a Mac Mini. you do not need the apple mouse or apple keyboard.

  • @Rifalltoo

I know that obviously, but the guy has a laptop so he can not re use his screen or keyboard. He would have to buy all of those parts. And I never even said you could only use the Apple keyboard or mouse, I said that he would still have to buy those after he got his Mac Mini whereas they are included with the iMac. So obviously the iMac is the better deal in his situation, no?

  • @nickdog670 oh. Then yes. Apple displays go for 1,000 dollars. So factor that into the price of an iMac, and it wins even more.

  • @Rifalltoo

    Another good point!

  • nice, der mini hat ja richtig power ;)

  • thx dude !
