thank you very much for sharing your work. they look excellent. could you please kindly comment on any practical differences between the compact wood burning stove, and the bushwhacker, for the uses of an outdoorsman?  is one more simple in use, or more reliable than the other? thanks

why is it called a wood *gas* stove nad not just wood stove?

also can you use it indoors?

Wood gas stoves burn by a gasification process. For details Google "wood gas". Use this stove only outside. Never, ever use this stove inside a tent, building or survival structure!

Is there a fan underneath?

No fan is used. I design all my stoves using natural convection physics.
