lol watching this again after months of owning my macbook.

i can still remember the excitement of unboxxing it. . .lol i was literally shaking :p.

i'm still just in love with the machine as i was when i first received it.

truly the most amazing piece of technology i've ever owned.

still haven't had a single problem with it either.

it's nice having something that just works. . .no strings attached.

just made a purchase on one of these today (2.4ghz, 2gb ram, 160gb hdd), and i too went with a refurb (saved me $200).

it's amazing.

it came to me in brand new shape. heh i looked it over very closely to see if i could tell it's ever been used. nothing. everything came to me extremely clean, and in new condition.

it's my first time using mac, and i was a bit worried about getting use to the operating system. but it's been a dream. so simple to use, and i've had no problems at all adapting.

it's by far the best computer i've touched. and it looks amazing too boot (soooo thin!).

The volume is loud enough for me. However, the MacBook Pros have louder speakers with better bass.

I am using my white MacBook right now on my lap and yes, it will get really hot on the bottom...or maybe that's just mine?

yeah, mine gets really hot on the bottom as well.

i mean it's not going to burn you, or catch any fires :p but still, it's pretty dam hot.

i bought one of those little things you place notebooks ontop of that have 2 built in fans that blow on the bottom of the notebook, and it's amazing at how well it works. . .even after several hours of playing world of warcraft my macbook doesn't get too hot with the fans turned on.

and it runs very smoothly. i'm very impressed.

At first, I was worried about the screen size as well. However, after using for a few weeks, I have realized that I never really even thought about the screen size, so I guess it isn't an issue. The screen does seem larger in person.

yeah, my dad was really worried about the screen size as well.

i've been using my mom notebook which was 15.4".

after about a month with this 13" screen i've never had any problems with the size. . .nor has it ever even popped in my mind that i wished the screen was bigger.

on paper 13" doesn't seem like much, but in practice i find it to be more then enough.

It was just like brand new without any scratches. There was a problem though, where the camera was not recording video properly. But I talked to Apple and they are sending me a replacement. I don't think that MacBooks are recommended for many recent games, but some will work.
