And although I have 6 hamster cages, it was hard to get them out and they didn't enjoy it too much. So I made them that cage, but it was pretty temporary. I eventually bought a new cage for Chewy, and Fluffy went back to another cage with Gemini. *Those two are INSEPARABLE!!!*

Well, since Chewy has passed on, I only have Gemini. Fluffy and Gem stay in my sister's room.

Yes, it can be used as any type of small animal or bird treat. Bunnies with love the peanut butter, and if you use birdseed instead of hamster food, birds go nuts, too. (used thus on my friends bunny and other friends bird.)

2 questions..

If u feed ur hamsters fruit/veg everyday wont it give them the runs?

My hamster had wet-tail how do u think it happened?

Giving them veggies everyday keeps them very healthy. Fruits should be given lightly as treats.

None of my hamsters ever had wet tail, but you need to keep things clean. Wash out the cage entirely once a week. Also replace food and water every single day and give them fresh foods. If there was a lot of urine in the cage, that may be why.

@revathirenil No, peanuts are just fine for hamsters. It is only thought that the hard shell and actual nut hurt the hamsters teeth, yet hamsters chew on wood. It wont hurt them in peanut butter form, though.

Poor pie. That happened to my old hamster Charlie. He and my other 2 hamsters escaped somehow. I found one the others but Charlie was dead.

@meres2cool I love Russian dwarves! Chewy is a Chinese dwarf, although I do have a robo hamster named Gemini. I'm sorry about pie, robo hamsters tend to not live very long because of how fast and hard to handle they are, but I trained all my robos that I ever had so that they can be held and not be afraid of everyone. RIP pie ;(

@PetLuvrr no, Pie was only 4 months old! my cat got into my room when i wasnt loooking and the hood of her tank was off. she also had babies and my cat ate them. D= we found Pie on my floor all chewed up. we burried her in our yard. we bought her on ksl.com. i cant bare to tell Jill the girl i bought Pie from, i cant tell her Pie died, it would be too sad.
