  • I have a question... Do you need rich soil to plant cucumbers?

  • I love your ideas of gardening, i purchased 8 dozen worms and spread them all over my three veggie plots..

  • wish I could hear U on here ! Can u plz make sure u turn ur volume up loud ?

  • You just made my day.

  • Are the worms in your raised beds Red Wigglers?

  • Jesus Christ! Hybrids are NOT the same thing as GMO. I really wish people would check their facts before spouting off about heirlooms being "GMO free". So are most hybrids. Hybrids are developed through selective breeding... that's it. That's all it is. It's not some big damn conspiracy. It's simple genetics. It's the plant equivalent of a mule.

  • While she is talking the music is identic to the farmville music.

This is agriculture for facebook heads. HA!

  • Your productions are so well made. Iv'e got to ask how do you do it? How big is your production crew?.

  • i think you look so so so much like oprah. i bet you get that all the time.lol

  • Great vid I think I missed it for some reason....doesn't those cocoa bean shell smell awsome!!!

  • With limited space you want to plant Cukes? They have virtually ZERO nutritional value, no matter how close together you plant them. Bad call

  • Great vid but I think the music gets in the way. Perhaps lower it a bit next time

  • any tips for keeping deer off the corn

  • a gun

  • @joshmc6 ,AMEN BROTHER! i like to use my bow on em tho

  • @fishnkid1923 theres a system that you can get thats humaine and it just either makes a noise when walked by or squirts water i forget

  • im not that kind of person...im not gonna waste my time on one of those....i have seen people hang aluminum cans on a striing around their garden....and if you put coyote pee around it it will keep them off...too bad deer season wasnt all year!lol

  • @fishnkid1923 how you gonna get coyote pee?

  • @theweirdthings ,a trapping store...

  • @theweirdthings I've read a few places that human pee works too....but...yeah.

  • Huge fan! Love you!

  • Great Video as Usual. I just wish they were longer...all of your videos are only 3-5 minutes long. You have a wealth of knowledge and you help so much. u are so inspirational!!This is my 1 st year of gardening I have a question...How many worms should I put in each bed? I have 1 (4x4) bed and 2 (4x8) beds.

  • Also, just curious, what kind of mulch are you using? It looked like cooca beans? Do you use the "Mel's Mix?"

  • Yay for a good gardening show doing SFG! I'm so happy I found you!

Can you do a winter garden show? Like what to do in the winters etc?

    Excellent stuff, thank you!

  • May I come over for dinner please?

  • Sure, you bring the wine.

  • garden girls,

nice plants; u shuld think about usin old styrafoam cups or hackin the top off soda bottles to start them!

    great camereawork!

  • I love gardening and I think I may love you ? Just fooling I hate gardening.... wait just kidding again I have great luck with cucumbers Gardening in New Jersey Somerset County..... Grow on !

  • crawley we all love the garden girl i sent my father in law a video of her and he was like wow its because we all have the same intrest and that is too grow veggies i love tomatoes thats my favorite whats yours

  • I grow lots of tomatoes, I can't stand them raw but my Mom loves em....... ! so I grow em..... Beans, Cucumbers, peppers....! that is what I like.....

  • Are most of these plants seedlings that you start indoors or do you also sow directly into the soil? Do you know if it makes a difference in the plants resilience to do either one or the other?

  • You didn't mention companion planting. Does companion planting not work with your intensive small area method?

  • I don't know much about Cucumbers but I sure do love them. I grew some last year but my goats got to them! Darn, goats..lol..

    Dora Renee' Wilkerson

    p.s. Great video!

  • Are you concerned about interpollination between the different cucumber breeds? How do you know if you get the actual cucumbers that you planted rather than a combination of all?

  • No biggie, it's the seeds that will be a combination, not the fruit itself.

  • Alrighty then, thanks and I love your channel!

  • I like the fact that we saw a "before and after". Usually garden shows just show planting without the result after some time. This is great!

  • I was curious what you're using as support, as well. I just killed most of my cucumbers by taking them out of the peat pots when transplanting...but I see that you just poke holes in the bottom and trim the roots...I'll do that next time...Great video! Thanks!

  • Did you put up any support structures for the vines? Thanks for posting.

  • Cucumbers are great. Do you make your own pickles. I like the bread & butter ones best.

    Best wishes

    Richie
