hey i got a question. i just bought a tabla set and the big silver one doesnt have dowels with it it. ive seen videos where they do but yours doesnt look like it has any. do i need them and could i just use some from the hardware store?

the melody is based on a raga named deshi. as i don't have the ability to really unravel a raga, i'm improvising in d minor using both the natural and lowered 6th at different times... thanks for listening.
