ty , ty ,ty , was i got a old satellite 210cs from a buddy , but i couldnt get it to work thanks to bios password, no i can restore some old files of his job :D
Do you have any information for me on a toshiba satellite p15-420? I bought it at the flea market and apparently the person I got it from forgot to delete the password. Thanks
hello i hav a Toshiba portege 3480CT.i want to remove bios pass.i removed the one bios battery for 24hrs but he pass still there what can i do vwestlife
why don't you just make a loopback parallel cable to bypass the password screen and reset it??? the only thing you need is one end of a parallel cable!!!
@acerb45666555 Sorry, I can't help you with that. I suggest you try to find a more relevant place to ask your questions, rather than posting a comment on a mostly unrelated YouTube video!
Is this the 435CDS because I also have a problem with it, when i turn it n, the hard drive light cojmes on for 5 seconds and than turns off. It doesent show ny signs of life. HELP
@delliswierd Try removing the hard drive and RAM and see if it then stays on, as those components could be faulty. Otherwise I'm afraid the power supply could be dead, and unfortunately the one disadvantage of a built-in power supply is that it's much more difficult to replace if it goes bad, as compared to the external power "brick" that most other laptops use.
@iron93man loopback parallel cable ;) check on the web how to make the connection. Toshiba actually gives it as a part in case you forget your password
i have a toshiba 490CDT and a toshiba 4010CDS and it should work if it doesn't ill fix it im smart especially with computers everyone says!! even though im only 10!!
hi plessss can u help me ihave toshiba 256 m30 he asck me for password how ican do that .iremove the kebort and icant see any batry the one you talk ubot can you u help me plesssss
@steve1976111 First, I can barely understand your typing, and second, I don't know anything about that model so I can't help you, sorry. Try contacting Toshiba technical support.
This technique should work on almost any computer, but the back-up battery (or batteries) probably will be in a different location, so I can't help you with the details on how to find and remove them.
My uncle has one of these from 1995 (I think) and the hard drive in it is so noisy! Oh by the way what is the hard drive capacity in this becuase I forgot to look on my uncles.
what the fuck, I type in acer aspire s5 which is 0.6mm thin, and this comes up?

If i remove the batteries and let the settings reset, will i lose all pics and personal files on laptop?
josh01078583 1 year ago
@josh01078583 No. Taking out the batteries does not magically erase your hard drive.

I will try doing like you said and run my 205CDS over night, leaving it on charge and with computer running.
My fan does not run so if by 11PM the fan does not come on I will shut it down and let it charge overnight.
Very good info on the BIOS batteries.

It depends on the particular model. This one (the Satellite Pro 410CS) originally came with an 810 MB hard drive (0.81 GB).

Cool! I had a feeling clearing the CMOS would disable a password - I didn't know if it would work for sure, though.
That's a nice laptop! 60 MHz Pentium processor?
themaritimeman 2 years ago
It is a 90 MHz Pentium. It's a well built laptop, but the "dual scan" passive matrix color LCD leaves much to be desired.
