  • А как насчёт линукса на такой машине?

  • @Rost1366 DSL (Damn Small Linux) отлично работают на такой машине.

  • is this laptop old? it looks like it like a 99,98, or 2000

  • Do you have any information for me on a toshiba satellite p15-420? I bought it at the flea market and apparently the person I got it from forgot to delete the password. Thanks

  • hello i hav a Toshiba portege 3480CT.i want to remove bios pass.i removed the one bios battery for 24hrs but he pass still there what can i do vwestlife

  • hope it works for me mate

  • why don't you just make a loopback parallel cable to bypass the password screen and reset it??? the only thing you need is one end of a parallel cable!!!

  • I got one but im stuck wth Windows 98

  • If i remove the batteries and let the settings reset, will i lose all pics and personal files on laptop?

  • @josh01078583 No. Taking out the batteries does not magically erase your hard drive.

  • @acerb45666555 Sorry, I can't help you with that. I suggest you try to find a more relevant place to ask your questions, rather than posting a comment on a mostly unrelated YouTube video!

  • Is this the 435CDS because I also have a problem with it, when i turn it n, the hard drive light cojmes on for 5 seconds and than turns off. It doesent show ny signs of life. HELP

  • @delliswierd Try removing the hard drive and RAM and see if it then stays on, as those components could be faulty. Otherwise I'm afraid the power supply could be dead, and unfortunately the one disadvantage of a built-in power supply is that it's much more difficult to replace if it goes bad, as compared to the external power "brick" that most other laptops use.

  • @vwestlife Ok, Ill try that

  • if anyone can help me i have the same problem but my laptop is a toshiba satellite pro 4600 i would really apperaciet it very much

  • @iron93man loopback parallel cable ;) check on the web how to make the connection. Toshiba actually gives it as a part in case you forget your password

  • i have a toshiba 490CDT and a toshiba 4010CDS and it should work if it doesn't ill fix it im smart especially with computers everyone says!! even though im only 10!!

  • u rock man u rrrrrroooooocccccckkkkkk!!

I have 2 of those laptops and im going to try that maybe even though i know the password!!

  • The size of that bios battery lol.

Man who the fuck is still using these laptops.

  • im soory me computer is toshiba A10 how ican reset dthe a bios passwor

  • @steve1976111 Again, I am not familiar with that model so I can't help you. Try contacting Toshiba tech support.

  • @steve1976111 First, I can barely understand your typing, and second, I don't know anything about that model so I can't help you, sorry. Try contacting Toshiba technical support.

  • can this work on a toshiba laptop portege m200 that is wat ii have ... let me know

  • This technique should work on almost any computer, but the back-up battery (or batteries) probably will be in a different location, so I can't help you with the details on how to find and remove them.

  • I will try doing like you said and run my 205CDS over night, leaving it on charge and with computer running.

My fan does not run so if by 11PM the fan does not come on I will shut it down and let it charge overnight.

Very good info on the BIOS batteries.

    Bill

  • 4:30 to 4:59 random flyage ; )

  • is the your main computer that you up load you videos on?? or do you have a better one?

  • No, I have much newer computers I use. This is just an old one in my collection.

  • lol sorry :)

  • kool!! thanks alot!!

  • My uncle has one of these from 1995 (I think) and the hard drive in it is so noisy! Oh by the way what is the hard drive capacity in this becuase I forgot to look on my uncles.

  • It depends on the particular model. This one (the Satellite Pro 410CS) originally came with an 810 MB hard drive (0.81 GB).

  • Cool! I had a feeling clearing the CMOS would disable a password - I didn't know if it would work for sure, though.

That's a nice laptop! 60 MHz Pentium processor?

  • It is a 90 MHz Pentium. It's a well built laptop, but the "dual scan" passive matrix color LCD leaves much to be desired.

  • Haha, real fuzzy, is it?

  • that looks like an older version of the toshiba mysteriousjustin mailed me to microwave
