Its a CWS, or Control Wheel Steering, autopilot. That is, you set the attitude of the aircraft throgh manual inputs in to the flight controls and the autopilot (once the paddles are engaged) will capture and hold that attitude. When you reach altitude, you flip the ALT HOLD switch on and the aircraft will hold the altitude which was currently being flown. Quite fun actually.
Brilliant, great graphics, though some sound effects like mid air as plane flew past sound like engines were spooling down. I flew out of Legaspi in June 2006, same direction of take off roll, and curved over Mayon exactly like here, in 737-200 RP-C8007. Volcano was smoking well this partic day.
That "spooling down" sound is due to Doppler Effect. When an object is approaching you, it will sound with a higher frequency than stationary. When it moves past you and moves away from you, the sound you receive has a lower frequency. For more details consult Wikipedia or a high school physics book. :)
I realise the doppler effect, however I know this type of aircraft and it's P&W
JT8D engines well, the sound you'd get after it passes at high rpm setting would be a roar, having passed the intake area to the blast area. The sound is definately like a spooling down and the turbine noise can only be heard when forward of the engine. If you hear one of these (srs 200) landing, you get the same sound as power is cut off as the plane flares out, about to touchdown, the JT8D spools down quickly.
Not FS2004, anyway. The rest of the sounds are pretty realistic though. Have a look at the video by 'mrsubmission' called Boeing 737-200 JTD Soundpack Enginetest.
hey nice video. I have a 737-300 and I want that panel. I'd downloaded it in simviation and in the tinmouse page too but it doesn'd work, can you help me please?
Nice video! Could you make a start up tutorial for this plane? I have the tinmouse 737 too but some of my systems in the cockpit fail after I'm about 10 minutes in the air. I think it has something to with how I start up the plane.
the GPS what you do is click the D with an arrow going though it then use the arrows on the bottom till u get a 0 in the top line then type in the airport ID
correct me if im wrong as far i am concerned your departure airport is in Legaspi Airport by the way whats the destination anyway never heard of the Ground Control IFR clearance approval... :)
where did you get this plane?

Well then I guess the sound is not that accurately made in FS. :P

I use just the standard sound set of the tinmouse, no different set.
