Yes. They are vandal-proof and scratch-proof. T series is not waterproof. Optical series is waterproof on the left, right and bottom strip. Upper strip is where the cmos camera located, so it is only 3 strips water-proof. Since water flows with gravity. If the monitor is tilted at 90-5 degree, optical series should be considered as waterproof in this sense.
