@flspy- There is a canoe rental shop on site. Get there early, like at 10 or 11 am. Canoe rentals go fast, and you may even have to reserve one for a weekend. You can take cameras, coolers and snacks and such, as long as you don't litter. There is only one place to "put in", and that's at the head of the spring. From there, it's about a 4 - 5 hour canoe trip. There is one spot along the way at about the 1/2 way point where you can get out of the canoe for a rest.
I've never been there. Where is a good place to start from and/or rent canoes from?

@flspy- Yes, canoes can easily be rented. I am sure those who own their own may use them as well, for a fee.
