Cause my friend said that wouldn't work, but i'm retiring my vx21 for a vx1and i have an opteka so i was wondering cause i don't wanna spend $700 on an mk1.

Yes you can, youll just need a spacer ring and youll get vignette

@carlosisapimp I've seen modded opteka's, they look good, but what you said is true, i bought a step-up ring and a spacer and i got a little bit of vig in the left side of the frame, but it's much wider than what it was.

you just buy a spacer (1 or 2 is perfect)

and you'll get vignetting

its fairly easy, i moded mine by putting the outer lense of a older fisheye i had on the inside of it, and did a thing with my tape and put it on, and it looks wonderful
