I've been running EyeFinity for awhile now. When it's supported, it's fantastic and you never want to go back to a single monitor. The bezels are easy to hide by overlapping the edges, so they're really not an issue.

The problem is when you get things like Skyrim that require a hack, & game patches break the game and the hack, so you end up wrestling with game developers who still just want to port console games and not bother supporting their PC audience.

It's a real shame, too. :(

i love the 6970 but if that's out of range you can flash the 6950 bios to one of the 6970's, giving you a great boost in almost everything.

@TaintProductions If your playing on a single monitor 1920x1080 , either card should be able to max the game out with min 30 fps. EA posted official Sys Req on their forums and their "Recommended Use" is either a GTX 460 or HD 6850. Even at a higher resolution and multiple monitors, I can still see a single gpu HD6950 or 6970 handling BF3 with no problems at all.

the 3 monitor work as 1 hyper high resolution monitor. You will see game, movies, windows, ALL in this 3 monitor as if it was 1 monitor. The problem is Video resolution vs monitor resolution. You get 3 time wide range but high is the same, so you need 9 monitor to keep aspect radio 16:9....3 monitor convert 16:9 to 48:9 panoramic (not good for movies ^^).

but keep in mind of other components.

@shadowk33 From what I've read you should add 300 watts to account for the rest of your system. That's 650w total and from what I heard Linus say in another video you should add 100w to your total power needs. So for you a 750w would be ideal.

It really depends on what brand and quality PSU you want. Shop around and find one you like.
