the studio version is one of the best studio songs for me. the guitar sound is so desolating and yet the piano so relieving that it keeps making me cry
reminds me of neil young's after the goldrush for some reason, good, could be the karma police of the new album, its got the acoustic and piano but who knows, could be a b side
...But this new stuff is so different from the Bends. I see what you mean though, they always cut back on their albums for something really powerful and melancholy.
It's because Coldplay ripped that sound off of Radiohead in the first place, they just happened to take Karma Police's piano line and put it over Fake Plastic Tree's synths before Radiohead got around to it.
is anyone getting an error message?

Absolute sheer Radiohead brilliance - hauntingly beautiful. If only they would play it at all live shows in the future ...

i really love the piano, this is quite a beautiful song, even if it does relate to something quite dark
reminds me of a cross between ''i will'' and ''fake plastic trees'', its sorta odd, but very nice

yeah, that's what I thought at first, It will be the "fake plastic trees" of the album, but I'm not saying that it has to do anything with the bends
