@heartsajar It could be worse! the very same surgeon I used is no longer allowed to perform surgery (according to MSP because he wouldn't do it in a public facility for 2k) but before that was charging 10k BEFORE taxes. The only surgeon currently operating in BC has a more than a few trans guys who are so unhappy with their results they are considering legal action! 5k is a lot- but Id rather have paid that and got what I did than 10 or even a free botch job!

@babyeey Well... does your partner identify as male? (I ask because I know that testosterone is sometimes used to treat conditions in female identified persons.) If so, you could use whatever pronouns your partner prefers, and if they decided that they're more comfortable with a different name, you could use that as well.

Just be there for your partner, they'll come to you if they need your support :)

@DiamondWings77 thanks for your comment! T is just short for Testosterone. For a lot of Ftm out there it plays a major part of transition. It is taken weekly or bi-weekly to maintain 'normal' male testosterone levels and bring on secondary sexual characteristics like musculature, facial/body hair, voice drop, etc..

I was born female, raised female, even modeled as a female before starting hormones just after my 20th birthday. My surgery was a gynecomastia correction which is used primarily for the removal of mammary tissue in men- essentially a much less invasive mastectomy. I am now legally male and live as such.

@ajinjoseph1 actually funny thing about that is- the same androgen- or male sex hormone DHT (dihydrotestosterone) that is responsible for male-pattern baldness plays a big role in facial and body hair growth. It come from the about 5% of your free testosterone that is converted. I take weekly testosterone injections to maintain a 'normal' male testosterone count. So while I have grown some facial and body hair- I too get to watch my hairline thin out and slowly recede.

I have full tactile sensation and some erotic sensation but not 100% yet. but, its coming back and it hasnt been a year yet and my surgeon told me that it could be that long until I regain full erotic senstaion. I didnt have an aerola re-size just a nipple-trim and no- i had no complications

anyways, i think that what he did with your nipples, just trimming them, can explain why you have lots of sensation retained. (cause if i understood correctly your explanations, he trimmed down you nipples, and then he lifted up the skin to create a male looking chest but he didn't grafted or repositioned them). btw, your sensation returned pretty fast compared to other guys.
